About me
Ingrid Puche is an elementary educator and project-based learning specialist who has been with Avenues The World School since its founding year. Over the past decade, she has worked across K–5 as a classroom teacher, project designer, and curriculum developer, supporting students, teachers, and school-wide initiatives. Her work centers on designing inquiry pathways that engage students in asking meaningful questions and connect learning to authentic, real-world contributions. Ingrid holds a BA and teaching credential in Language and Literature from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a specialization in Bilingual Education from Instituto Singularidades. She has completed advanced training in the Design, Assessment, and Management of Project Based Learning through the PBLWorks Institute (California, USA), where she also earned certification as a PBL facilitator for teacher professional development. In addition to her work at Avenues, Ingrid is the author of the chapter Planning Projects for Bilingual Contexts (Megale et al., 2019). She also teaches in undergraduate and graduate programs, supporting the preparation of future educators and educational leaders.
Ingrid Puche é professora e especialista em Aprendizagem Baseada em Projetos (Project-Based Learning – PBL), atuando na Avenues The World School desde seu ano de fundação. Ao longo de sua trajetória, trabalhou com turmas da Educação Infantil e do Ensino Fundamental I (K–5) como professora e designer de projetos, colaborando com alunos e educadores no desenvolvimento curricular. Seu trabalho é centrado na criação de percursos investigativos nos quais os alunos desenvolvem maior autonomia e pensamento crítico sobre seu processo de aprendizagem e podem transpor o aprendizado a contextos autênticos, seja na esfera pessoal, social ou emocional. Possui bacharelado e licenciatura em Letras (USP) e é especialista em Educação Bilíngue (Instituto Singularidades). Também possui formação em Design, Assessment and Management of Project Based Learning (PBL Works Institute - Califórnia/EUA) e possui certificação de formadora de professores para PBL, pela mesma instituição. Autora do capítulo O planejamento de Projetos para Contextos Bilíngues (MEGALE and al., 2019), possui ampla experiência no planejamento e implementação do trabalho por projetos (PBL) na educação infantil e ensino fundamental bi/multilíngue. Atualmente é professora do ensino fundamental, atuando também como docente na graduação e pós-graduação no ensino superior.
