Brenda Velázquez Escobar is a Dean of Student Life and International School & College Counselor at Avenues São Paulo, working at the intersection of student wellbeing, identity development, and future pathways. With a multilingual and internationally informed background, she brings a relational and culturally responsive approach to student support. Her work is grounded in socioemotional learning and student-centered practices, with a focus on adolescent development, belonging, and agency. Brenda is particularly interested in designing inclusive learning environments that promote emotional safety, reflection, and holistic growth, while supporting students in navigating complex academic and postsecondary pathways.
